FAQ
What should I expect when I visit?
You can expect to be greeted warmly and often. You can also expect God-centered worship intended to bring you into the very presence of Jesus and Bible-based teaching designed to help you grow into a follower of Christ.
When are the services?
Sundays: Life Courses for adults, and Sunday School for children are at 9:15 a.m., our Worship Service is at 10:30 a.m.
Wednesdays: House of Prayer meets at 6:45 p.m.
What should I expect in church? What kind of music will you play?
Pastor Bryan and his worship teams strive to bring worshippers into the presence of God. Our music is relevant, but remembers our legacy. You will see a praise band, occasional choirs and various other media.
What kind of preaching is there?
Our Senior Pastor, Dr. Bob Bakke, explains the Bible and applies it to daily life.
How long will I be in the church service?
The Worship Service begins at 10:30 AM and ends at 11:45 AM. You're invited to stay for the coffee, treats and fellowship following the service that takes place in the Lobby. If you would like someone to pray with you after the service regarding the needs in your life or those of your loved ones, there will be men and women at the front of the Worship Center who will feel privileged to seek God with you.
What does BBC have for my family?
Every Sunday morning we have Life Courses for adults, Student Ministries for youth, and Sunday School for children from 9:15 - 10:15 am, and vibrant worship experiences in the Worship Service at 10:30 am. On Wednesdays at 6:30 PM, we offer Nursery/Childcare for children birth - 3 years, Pioneer Clubs for children 3 years through 4th grade (that meets from September through April), "Impact" for 5th & 6th graders, "Fully Devoted" for 7th - 12th grade, and "House of Prayer" for adults.
What should I know if I'm coming with children?
During the service, nurseries are provided for children from birth through 3 years old. Pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and first graders are dismissed, during the offering, to attend Kids' Worship. Nursery and a full compliment of age appropriate bible study classes are offered for children during the Sunday School hour that begins at 9:15 a.m.
What should I wear?
We're more concerned with bringing worshippers into the presence of God than we are with what they're wearing.
Where should I park?
Guest parking is available in the South lot (in front of the building complex).
Where should I go once I'm on campus?
Enter through the South Entrance between our Worship Center and the large classroom building. It is on your right as you face our buildings from the main parking lot. Once inside the church Commons, greeters will help you with any questions.
Handicap parking is best in the North lot (behind the building complex).
Will I be pressured to give money?
We believe worship through giving is for regular attenders and members.
